Vyda is one the the projects the PTA sponsor. Vyda's objective is to improve the education of the child as an individual by emphasizing important values such as self-esteem, respect, friendship, communication, gratitude, and all the principles needed for the formation of the child as a whole, in order to be well prepared to face life.it starts in kindergarten with the participation of parent volunteers and continues through until sixth grade.
The Columbus School in Medellin brought this program to Colombia after it had been successfully tested in the United States by Sandy McDaniel and Peggy Bielen in California.
The methods used are very dynamic and enjoyable, involving real life situations and providing the child with the fundamentals for taking the correct decisions.
By supporting this program we work with our children teaching them to be self-confident and assuring them a happier future.
