Parrish school is dedicated to the task of providing an environment conducive to the academic growth of students and to the fostering of future citizens of strong character, pride and respect for self, school, community, state and nation. Admission to and continuance in the school is to be regarded as a privilege and not a right.

Admission criteria:
Three factors are considered as a frame of reference for the acceptance of new students:
1. Affiliation or bonds with the KCP community.
2. The educational need of the candidate regarding learning in English.
3. The commitment of the candidate and his/her family to the type of education offered at KCP.
There are other indicators of educational needs: children who arrive in Colombia with no knowledge of Spanish, or children who come from other bilingual schools. If the parents speak English, it is considered an indicator of success in the demanding program of the school. Parents are considered a fundamental factor in the education of their children, and that is why consideration should be given to those families who have demonstrated their support for the school and its mission.
