Wilson Lynn Breeden, 54, went to be with
his Lord on Friday, July 21, 2006 at Abliene Regional Hospital after a
battle with cancer. Wilson was born August 2, 1951, in Ft. Worth to Dr. L.
Glynn and Ila Hayworth Breeden. He grew up in Barranquilla, Colombia where
his parents were Baptist missionaries. He graduated from Colegio Karl C.
Parrish in 1969. He graduated from Dallas Baptist College and the University
of Texas at San Antonio an attended Our Lady of the Lake University. He was
a teacher and librarian for 32 years. He taught at Esparza and Glenoaks
elementary Schools. He especially enjoyed being the librarian at Lyndon B.
Johnson Elementary School where he worked until he retired in 2005. He is
survived by his wife, Karan, of Abilene; daughter, Julie, of San Francisco;
his mother, Ila of Amarillo, 4 brothers: Harold, Terry and Robert, all of
Amarillo, and Davifd of Missouri City; and 2 nephews and 4 nieces. He was
preceded in death by his father, Glynn. His memorial service was on
Saturday, July 29, at Primera Iglesia Bautista (formerly Manor Baptist
Church) located at 201 Meredith Drive, San Antonio. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests memorials be given to the Dr. Glynn Breeden Endowed Memorial
Scholarship for Missionary Kids at Hardin-Simmons University. (2200 Hickory,
